How come anything good for kids is deemed bad?
Q. How come anything deemed good for kids is called bad and poked fun at? Such as barney which teaches kids about learning, counting,colors, shapes, and the importance of having an imagination.Then people make fun of him because he's purple, calling him gay or a child molestor. As this has been done over time, our children become more arrogant and rude, and seem to be protecting themselves in this way by being tough and unconcerned about anyone elses' feelings or desires. They are more violent, untrusting,and close-minded. If we want our children to be productive in society then why do we teach them these sorts of things at such a young age?

A. It's because parents seem to think more for their own sanity than for the entertainment-hungry minds of their children. They think Barney is annoying, well anything annoying to adults is sure to be entertaining for kids. Like the Steve or Joe characters on Blue's Clues. They get labeled "creepy" or annoying by the parents, parents decide they don't want their kids watching them because somewhere in their minds they have cooked up some image of them being molesters or creeps, all because they are "acting" to better attract the pre-school audience. They don't see the characters teaching them how to count or the different shapes or even how to treat other people. They can only see what their adult minds allow them to see. How can a person be deemed innocent until proven guilty (Australia)?
Q. How can a person be deemed innocent until proven guilty (Australia), if they are put into remand until their court date? Doesn't this contradict "innocent until proven guilty"? Shouldn't the accused be free until their set court date?

A. It s a theory in place to have a fair unbiased trial; a person must be proven guilty in the U.S courts thus placing the burden on the accusers/prosecutors to win the jury. In other countries people are guilty first and have to prove their innocent thus placing the burden on the accused and that makes it harder to win a jury that has a negative disposition or presumption that the individual is guilty from the start. In the U.S the accused have the option of paying bail or bail can be denied only if the accused is a risk but that is determined by a judge at the bail hearing.
